Whitehall has a new station with a small modern shelter.
The old station platforms and building were south of the current station. The old platforms can still be seen although the D&H building and canopy are gone. In the 1980s the buildings were still standing but decaying. At that time Amtrak had a small shack at the end of the old platform.
Just beyond the old Whitehall platforms the branch to Rutland departs.
