Between Holland and Hammel

As we head east from Holland we see the former Atlantic Division in the distance. We also see the view along the tracks heading toward Holland.

The track on the right provides a direct linkage between Far Rockaway and Rockaway Park, but normally is not used for revenue service. After Hurricane Sandy severed the connection to the mainland, this track was used for temporary special shuttle service between Holland and Far Rockaway.
