Between Aqueduct and Ozone Park

Just north of the Aqueduct station, on the Manhattan-bound side we see the NYC Subway Aqueduct Racetrack station. This was not an LIRR station, is only open certain times on certain days, and only serves trains going one direction.

Much of the line once had four tracks. In some places the old tracks still remain but don't appear to be used anymore.

From the subway we can see the old LIRR tracks.

An old signal bridge still stands over the former Rockaway Beach Division in the distance.
